Job Description

For the PeaceHealth multidisciplinary medical system in Oregon, 9 positions had to be closed: 7 RN certified nurses, with experience in intensive care units; neonatologist with an emphasis on critical conditions of newborns; head of obstetrics and gynecology with strategic baggage development of the department.

Challenge

Vacancies were closed in a very short time - the client had an urgent expansion project. Candidates with the necessary certifications and experience in the US are very scarce. The need to simultaneously accompany the processes of apostilization of documents, licensing, preparation for exams.

What we did

       
  • Developed a comprehensive search strategy: local Ukrainian market + Poland + Baltic countries, where there are doctors with similar certification
    •    
  • Introduced a program of individual counseling for candidates on passing NCLEX-RN, apostilization of documents, health insurance
    •    
  • Conducted parallel screening with online interviews and testing for knowledge of the protocols of American medicine
    •    
  • Accompanied the candidate until leaving for work, including relocation and housing

Result

Vacancies were closed completely in 45 days — the first candidates came out 6 weeks after the start of the search. PeaceHealth has a team of certified professionals with adapted onboarding processes. The client plans to expand cooperation to cover 12 more vacancies in Washington state.
