Job Description
We need a project manager with an engineering education who will lead teams of hardware developers to create new transformers and power equipment.
Key requirements
- Technical education (electrical engineering, mechatronics)
- Experience in R&D project management in the field of industrial electronics (3+ years)
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- English B2+ for communication with international customers
Challenge
Selection of a candidate who not only technically understands the product, but also has experience in managing engineering teams. Balance between technical depth and management skills.
What we did
- Searched among candidates from the profile “engineer+manager” in the region of the Czech Republic, as well as among Ukrainian expats
- Conducted a comprehensive assessment of soft skills through case interviews and evaluation of managerial competencies
- Organized a panel interview with TES and HR technical director
- Prepared the candidate for technical questions and negotiations on compensation
Result
Vacancy closed in 17 days. A PhD candidate from Schneider Electric in Electrical Engineering accepted the offer.
