Job Description
The company, which specializes in industrial equipment and medical electronics, was looking for an embedded developer with experience in analog circuit design and microcontroller programming (C/C++).
Key requirements
- Higher technical education (electrical engineering, cybernetics)
- Experience in hardware & firmware development for embedded systems (3+ years)
- Knowledge of EN standards, ability to work with data transmission protocols
- English at the level of reading technical documentation
Challenge
The market of the Czech Republic and the region is not too large for such a narrow profile, the competition is great. The need to check the depth of technical knowledge and soft skills, as well as the ability to work in a multicultural team.
What we did
- They used networking from technical universities in the Czech Republic and Ukrainian technical communities
- Conducted two-stage technical screening: online testing + live coding with TES senior engineer
- Organized online meetings with the customer to evaluate soft skills and motivation
- Provided support of the candidate for relocation and adaptation
Result
Vacancy closed in 28 days. The candidate successfully passed the testing and integrated into the R&D team of TES.
