It was necessary to find three client managers to sell online programs (astropsychology, spiritual coaching, educational counseling).
Key requirements
- High empathy, ability to work with clients' fears
- Experience in selling info-products, consulting or training (from 1 year)
- Understanding Astrology, Spiritual Practices (or Openness to Learning)
- Self-presentation skills in Zoom/Instagram
Challenge
The field is hybrid (infobusiness + psychology + esoterics), so the typical “salesman” was not suitable. Loyalty to the mission and understanding of the topic were also required.
What we did
- Built a value-oriented profile: candidates who have undergone personal transformation/work with therapy
- We turned to the communities of psychologists, coaches, coaches of women's courses
- We included a practical task in the screening test: “sell a conditional consultation for 15 minutes to a client who doubts”
- Held group onboarding sessions to speed up adaptation
Result
Closed in 17 days. All 3 candidates — with different backgrounds (targetologist, psychologist, HR), but high empathy and value compatibility. The average conversion rate for sales after onboarding is 27% (higher than the expected 18%).
